It was an honor to work together in a significant show of friendship and cultural interchange with Japan’s former Prime Minister Yoshihide Suga. India and Japan have both experienced periods of peace and hardship, but we unite with a common goal of a more promising and peaceful world.

A moment of honor and cultural exchange between India and Japan unfolded during the  program at the Rotary Club of Yokohama, Japan, where Senior Rotarians presented  special award of membership. The occasion was highlighted by the exchange of Vedic books from Integral books Publications, symbolizing mutual cultural understanding and fostering global harmony.

Amrithagiri Himalaya, in collaboration with Neelkanth Mahadev Temple, hosted a Gramasambark program at Neelkanth Mahadev Shishu Vidya Mandir School, uniting students, parents, teachers, and villagers. Led by Prof. Girish Kumar from the University of Kerala, and attended by Grama Pradhan Sri Sandeep Kumar and myself, the event aimed to address community challenges in Miral. Amrithagiri Ashram President Sri Mahipal Singh Thakur presented a Rs 1 lakh donation to support the school’s development. We listened to villagers' concerns and pledged to pursue sustainable solutions aligned with government initiatives to enhance education, health, and the well-being of the community.

On September 17, 2024, I had the honor of participating in a national seminar hosted by Hemwati Nandan Bahuguna Garhwal University, dedicated to exploring the cultural, ecological, governance, and security dimensions of the River Ganga. Dr. Girish Kumar, Head of Political Science at the University of Kerala, delivered a powerful keynote, underscoring the need for interdisciplinary efforts and academic involvement to safeguard the river. He emphasized the importance of research, policy recommendations, and community engagement, and encouraged partnerships with organizations like Amrithagiri Himalaya to drive awareness and sustainable solutions. The event featured notable speakers and paper presentations, closing with a call from university leaders to inspire collaboration and innovation in Ganga conservation.

The Ganga Aarti at Rishikesh, organized by the Ganga Seva Samiti, serves as a dedicated prayer for the Holy Ganga River Project, an initiative undertaken by Amrithagiri in collaboration with the University of Kerala.
